July Updates

Don't get your panties in a bunch, these updates are Philadelphia related. Unlike the last updates which had mostly to do with the stinking runway of alligator crap known as Manhattan. So with the 4th of July past us we have a treat for you. A two shot panorama showcasing the fireworks.

While reading a blog about Reflective Photography. I got inspired. I took a building that isen't well known for being reflective (Bell Atlantic Tower) turns out it reflects decently :) Enjoy

Times SQ Sunset

Yeah I know this has NOTHING to do with Philadelphia and the Big Apple is once again taking the spot light, but this had to be posted. On my last NYC run I tried to capture Times Square at sunset but was very disappointed that both sides of Times SQ face North and South where you don't get the orange shades in the sky at sundown, instead you get a dark blue. So I spent a few hours in photoshop touching up the original image to create the sunset effect on Times Square which came out better than I expected. Enjoy the view.

Lightning Show

With 20 days left to go until I move to Center City I managed to capture lightning on video with the summer storm we just had. Enjoy the 43 seconds of electrical eye candy.

Philly is CHRISTMAS

Philly is actually many different faiths and holidays as Mayor Michael Nutter explained at the 17th annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

There was a lot of controversy over the name this year. Quite frankly, I don't understand why, or who would want to cause controversy over something so beautiful as tonight was. Anyway, we had an amazing show, and at last the pictures. Click to view them in full size.
